In these data protection regulations, we inform you about the most important points of data processing within the scope of our offer.
The Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management explicitly points out that the transmission of data on the Internet (e.g. by e-mail) may have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties cannot be guaranteed. The Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management cannot accept any liability for damage caused by such security gaps. The use of published contact data by third parties for the purpose of advertising is expressly prohibited. The Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management reserves the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information (e.g. spam e-mails) being sent. The Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management also reserves the right to change the data protection regulations in order to adapt them to changed legal situations or in the event of changes to the service or data processing. Users are therefore asked to inform themselves regularly about their content.
So-called cookies are used on our website. These are small text files that are stored on a computer system with the help of the browser. Cookies are used on this site to make the site more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on the end device until they are manually deleted in order to recognize a browser on the next visit.

Collection of person-related data
When you apply for Product Innovation Project we collect the following person-related data in order to ensure a proper application process. We collect these data based on your agreement.
• First and last name
• Date of birth
• Study program and home university
Processing and use of personal data
We process and use the collected data for following purposes:
• During the application phase to ensure a proper application process
• Proof of consent
• Contact maintenance in connection to Product Innovation Project, especially regarding to the application process
Duration of data storage
Personal data is stored for the duration of the respective legal retention period. After this period has expired, the data will be deleted. Furthermore, there is a right to delete the data at any time. (see “Your rights”)
Data collected for the purpose of contacting you or providing services will be stored until you withdraw your consent. Regardless of the revocation, the contact data will be deleted if they are no longer valid.
International transmission of data
International transmission of data, if any, shall only take place in the case of order processing, which is specified separately in these provisions. (see web-plugins)
Regarding collected data, according to the GDPR, each person concerned has the right of:
• Erasure (right to be forgotten)
• Restriction of processing
• Data protability.
If you think that the processing of your data violates data protection loaw or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you have the right of complaint to the responsible supervisory authority. In Austria this is the data protection authority, Hohenstaufengasse 3, 1010 Vienna. You can revoke your consent to data processing at any time. As a consequence of a revocation, we will no longer process your data for the above-mentioned purposes from this point in time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact the Data Protection Officer of the Graz University of Technology.
